Korean Brides' Bangs...
The bridal hair of Korean brides often gives the impression that they have their bangs up, exposing their foreheads.
・Clean and stylish
・Sophisticated atmosphere
・Beautiful and graceful
These adjectives perfectly describe the look.
However, upon closer inspection, I noticed that there are several patterns in how Korean brides style their bangs.
I've categorized the arrangements of their bangs into three main types, which I will introduce.
"I'm wondering what to do with my bangs for the wedding..."
For brides who are struggling with this, please use this as a reference.
Korean Brides' Bang Pattern ① Precise Parting
First up is this style. It features bangs that are neatly parted along the crown of the head, split evenly on both sides.
This hairstyle enhances the elegance and grace of the bride, making her appear more royal.
The key point is that instead of a perfectly centered parting, it's characterized by a slight shift to about a 6:4 ratio.
Parting the bangs just above one eyebrow is the Korean bride's signature look.
Additionally, although the bangs are precisely parted...
It's also important to add just a little volume to the side with more hair.
This will make the silhouette of the head appear more beautiful.
Korean Brides' Bang Pattern ② Bangs with a Flick
Next is the flicked bang type.
This arrangement has a center part, with a small section of hair brought forward from the temples, resembling a flicked look.
It has a slightly more girly vibe compared to the precise parting, giving a modern and cute atmosphere.
The flicked sections should be curled outward for the perfect look.
You may want to try this cute look but might be worried it won’t suit you...
Or perhaps you’re concerned it will seem too unique...?
If you feel that way, it might be good to start by letting out a bit more hair (↓) than you think is needed.
From there, find your ideal amount for the "flicked hair bunch."
Korean Brides' Bang Pattern ③ Lifted Style
Finally, we have the lifted bang style.
The lift is a classic, but for Korean brides, it’s about a subtle lift.
Unlike the common voluminous look that stands tall from the roots,
it’s important to create a more natural and understated lifted style.
The "mountain" of the roots should be as small and low as possible.
The tips should blend into the back hair with soft, larger curls.
Rather than overly curling or fluffing, a smooth and flowing style is the Korean bride's way of achieving the lifted look.
