I Want to Try This ♩
Hello, I'm Haruno Tsuzaki, the editor of Marry*
I discovered an idea that might make cooking at home more fun, so I wanted to share it.
The idea is to freeze ginger in ice cube trays and store it as blocks....!
How have you been storing it until now....?
Ginger is often one of those ingredients that you don’t use up immediately, even if you buy a whole pack, right?
So, when you put it in the refrigerator, it often loses moisture and becomes all dried out or molds over time.....
That's why I always just put it straight into the freezer (in a ziplock bag) right after buying it, but I realized that there's also a method of grating it first and then freezing it in small portions....!
I was shocked.
This seems very convenient.
By using cute shaped silicone molds like star or heart shapes, it not only looks adorable but also seems to boost your mood.
You can add it to amazake, put it in tea with sugar, or add it to noodles.....
It's a wonderful idea that's both handy and cute ♡
I also saw someone doing the same with lemon juice, and I quietly applauded in my heart.
① Squeeze it and put it in an ice tray
② Freeze it in the freezer until solid
③ Take it out and put it in a ziplock bag
It requires these three steps, but because it's so cute, I want to give it a try ♡
