The Language of Flowers: "Innocence" - The Adorable Spring Flower "Freesia" with a Modern Touch

The Flower Currently in the Spotlight: "Freesia"*
"Freesia," a flower from the Iridaceae family.
It is commonly available as cut flowers in spring, so you will see it more often in florists and hear its name during this season♩
Multiple flowers bloom from a single stem of Freesia, and it opens up from plump buds to round flowers♡
In Japan, it is also called "Shobu Suisen" because it resembles the flowers of iris (Shobu) and daffodil.
Although Freesias blooming from buds are cute, they seem to have a less prominent impression in Japanese weddings and bouquets.
Many people use cut flowers to decorate their homes or incorporate them into flower arrangements, but they are less common as wedding bouquets or table decorations. They do not have the impression of being bold and extravagant but rather delicate and elegant.
Perhaps that's why I thought they weren't such a glamorous flower until now...
However, when I saw them bundled by popular Korean florists on Instagram, they looked vibrant and very cute.
My impression of Freesia flowers completely changed!
In this article, I will introduce Korean Freesia bouquets and flower arrangements.
If you find them cute♡, consider incorporating them into your wedding decorations♩
