Now, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom at the shrine ♡
Two minutes walking from Sakurashinmachi Station on the Den-en-toshi Line. The Kawazu cherry blossoms at "Sakura Jingu" shrine are now in full bloom. (As of February 26, 2021)
The cherry blossoms that bloom gracefully at the shrine always uplift the spirit...
These Kawazu cherry blossoms at Sakura Jingu have something a little different from regular cherry blossoms.
Known as the "Enmusubi Tree" ♡
The Kawazu cherry blossoms at Sakura Jingu bloom on both sides of the shrine.
On the left side, there is a cherry tree called the "Enmusubi Tree," and it is said that if you write your wishes on the "Enmusubi Hanaobi" ribbon and tie it, your connections will be strengthened ♡
(The initial offering for the Enmusubi Hanaobi is 500 yen)
People tie their wishes, such as for love, marriage, childbirth, exams, and employment, to the Enmusubi Tree with the hope that they will have good connections.
The sight of ribbons tied with wishes amidst the fully bloomed cherry blossoms is indeed a pink masterpiece. Just looking at the images seems to bring good fortune.
You can tie the Enmusubi Hanaobi ribbons all year round, but if possible, you'd want to visit during the spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom ♩
