Handmade Wedding Rings Are Interesting ♡

Many couples choose to "go to a studio and make their own wedding rings instead of buying them."

I feel like around 1 in 5 people in my circle choose this option.

Instead of selecting a ready-made ring from a brand, they design and create their own, resulting in a one-of-a-kind ring in the world.

Handmade wedding rings that are crafted with care and thought, ensuring that they don’t look like anyone else’s design, become treasures not only as rings but also as the experience of "making the rings" itself ♡

If I Were to Make One, I Would Choose This Design ♡

Personally, I chose a ring from a brand (I went with the same brand as the bag my husband gifted me.), but I thought making my own would be really wonderful if there wasn't a story behind having the same brand as the gifted bag.

I often see handmade wedding rings made in Japan, but I wondered, "What kind of designs do overseas couples create for their handmade wedding rings?" so I looked into it.

Among them, I picked out a few designs that made me think, "These rings are so cute ♡" and "It might be nice to make rings for our first wedding anniversary," and I’d like to share them with you♩

【1】

Wedding rings with matching patterns.

The groom's ring is engraved with the same pattern as the bride's ring, and the bride's ring takes the groom's pattern and shapes it (like lace!) ♡

【2】

Gold wedding rings. The upper half is smooth, while the lower half has patterns that they seem to have added themselves ♡

【3】

Square-shaped wedding rings when viewed from the side. Even though the appearance is simple, the unique shape when viewed from the side is stylish and attractive. (Chanel's camellia wedding rings are also wonderful ♡)

Instead of perfectly round, having a hand-drawn circle gives it a special feeling too*

【4】

At first glance, the wedding rings have completely different designs, with gold being the only common factor.

With ready-made products, one might think, "Maybe we should choose similar designs for our wedding rings... they are sold as a set after all..." but when making them by hand, it feels like the options widen since you start from scratch.

Even with different designs, the fact that “we made the rings together, in the same place” becomes something special.

【5】

A rare combination ring, with a gold surface and platinum underside. The charm of handmade rings is that they can have unique and innovative designs that you don't see in ready-made products ♩

【6】

Wedding rings with patterns that were created by tapping on them. The women's design is rounded, while the men's design is straight*

Despite the different shapes of the rings, they are linked by the same design ♡

【7】

Matt gold wedding rings. A simple ring seems to have more affection when crafted by hand ♡

【8】

It's rare to see this in Japan, but I think it's wonderful for men's rings to have diamonds as well.

The women's design features small diamonds arranged in a half eternity, while the men's design embeds a slightly larger diamond for ease of wear*

【9】

Rings made from the same material. They are about twice as thick, yet still hold a matching feel ♡

【10】

A design engraved with the same star motif. The bride's side includes diamonds*

Handmade Wedding Rings Are Wonderful ♡

I introduced designs of wedding rings made by brides overseas, not in Japan ♡

They had a slightly different atmosphere or motif from Japan, reflecting innovative ideas, which was interesting to see ♩

Brides thinking about making their own wedding rings might find it interesting to use the works of brides overseas as reference ♡
