Have You Heard About the Trendy Glass French Nail Art That's Been All the Rage Lately?♡

What are Glass Nails??
Hello, I'm Haruno Tsuzaki, an editor at Marry.
I love nails and enjoy trying out various new art styles, but recently I've been intrigued by an art style I haven't tried yet, called 【Glass Nails】.
I've been seeing it a lot on social media lately, and I think it's sparkly and cute~~.
How do you do Glass Nails??
It seems that it often takes the form of a French manicure, referred to as "Glass French" art.
I was curious, “What does glass mean? Are they using some special material?” but it turns out they're not using special materials like glass film or glass powder.
Instead, they place randomly shaped holograms, tape, or shells (?), over glitter, creating a twinkling effect resembling shattered glass... and that's how it's called Glass Nails*
(If that's the case, it seems like you could have it done at any nail salon, and even do it yourself!)
When you watch it in a video, it looks like this.

It's popular to layer it over a nude-colored base*
Design Examples ♡
I've picked up some example images that I want to show my nail artist when I order Glass French.
【1】
A transparent, light pink-beige base with a deep curved Glass French.
【2】
A pearl-like gray-beige with Glass French.
The square-shaped nail tips combined with this color give a sense of mode.

【4】
A base of mauve pink with a slightly shallower Glass French just at the tip*

Next, I want to try this*
Glass French.
Arranging stones over glitter French has been quite popular for some time, but this is the random version with holograms.
Instead of round holograms, making it in random shapes like squares or trapezoids, resembling "glass shards," seems to be the key point.
I'm thinking of ordering it the next time I go to the nail salon♩
