I Don't Want to Ruin My Bangs...!

The Problem of Bangs Ruining After a Day

Especially now that I'm wearing a mask the moment I step outside, the moisture from my breath leaking out from under the mask makes it only a matter of time before my perfectly styled bangs get ruined.

That would be fine on an ordinary day, but if it happens before arriving at a wedding I'm invited to, it would be shocking.

When taking pictures, I can't help but worry about my bangs, fidgeting with them constantly, which might make it hard to enjoy the moment...

How to Keep Your Bangs In Place?

Therefore, it is necessary to keep the curl of my bangs styled with straighteners or curling irons throughout the day, even while wearing a mask, sweating, or being blown by the wind!

The usual method for fixing bangs is to spray hair spray all over, but if done carelessly, they can become overly hard in a strange way.

(I've suffered from that many times)

So in this article, I will introduce tips to enhance the staying power of bangs while keeping a natural look.

Tip 1: Spray Hair Spray Directly on the Roots and Use Fingers or a Comb for the Ends

When using hair spray directly, it can concentrate too much on one area, causing clumps or accidentally spraying the side and back hair.

Therefore, spray it directly at the roots while using:

① Put some hair spray on the pads of your fingers and apply it using your fingertips.

② Spray directly onto a comb and use it to comb through your bangs.

This way, it will set naturally.

Then, lifting the bangs and giving a quick spray to the underside at the roots improves the hold. (You can just spray it directly at this point)

Tip 2: Use Baby Powder

The reason the curl in your bangs might fall is due to sweat and oil on your forehead.

We want to avoid having bangs that stick to our forehead or fall flat because of that.

Therefore, lightly dusting baby powder on the inside of your bangs and forehead can help avoid split or droopy bangs.

Additionally, if the curl is coming undone while out, applying baby powder to the roots of your bangs and moving your fingers in a zigzag motion can help lift the flat roots a bit.

Tip 3: Hair Styling Stick is Surprisingly Good

Do you know about hair styling sticks?

When you use it to smooth down flyaways or stray hairs, it prevents hair strands from coming out and keeps everything together, making it a convenient item perfect for angled bangs as well.

Applying it to the surface of your bangs, the parting, and the tips will keep them in place tightly without hardening, unlike hair spray.

(I've been using it since I saw a hairstylist using it!)

Say Goodbye to Bang Issues!*

The methods introduced this time might be known to some, but I believe they are the best shortcuts for keeping bangs looking natural.

The breath that leaks from the mask, the strong winds, sweat, and oil are all great enemies of bangs, but

we want to keep them styled as they were from the beginning throughout the day.

If there are any methods you haven't tried yet, please give them a go!
