Design of Request Cards ♩
A request card to enclose with wedding invitations.
・Reception
・Toast
・Friend's Speech
・Attendance at the Ceremony
・Parents for Walking Down the Aisle and Veil Down
This is a personalized paper item made for special requests.
The design of such request cards is often seen with a business card-sized card and
✓ Tracing paper layered and secured with eyelets
✓ Tied with ribbons
✓ Clipped together
✓ Slipped into a postcard-sized backing
These arrangements are common and frequently seen.
While searching for other designs, I found some really lovely ideas ♩
Request Card with Film-style Tags ♡
Here it is.
This is a request card featuring four vertically arranged photos, creating a comic strip-like film-style tag ♡
The creator of this design, @by___t.a,
printed old photos on cards for a request card to parents and simply finished it with antique gold eyelets ♩
It's very stylish,
and using nostalgic photos from childhood,
if they request,
"Please walk down the aisle with me"
"Please help with the veil down as the final touch"
it would feel very touching as soon as the invitation arrives... ♡
This is such a unique idea I've never seen before; I want to replicate it! ♡
How to Make Film-style Tags?
*Steps to Create Film-style Tags*
①
First, the app to use is "Picsart".
➡ Download PicsArt here
Press the collage grid.
②
Select four photos you want to use and choose this collage frame with four arranged vertically.
③
Next, press "Grid" at the bottom of the screen and choose the collage frame with five images arranged vertically.
The last frame will contain text added later, so no image is placed.
④
Adjust the size and position by expanding or contracting the images.
⑤
The recommended thickness for the "Border" is about 15.
⑥
Set the background color to your favorite color.
(Black is the most film-like and standard color!)
When done, save the image.
⑦
Next, use the "Phonto" app to add text in the bottom frame.
(It’s okay to use Picsart or LINEcamera instead of Phonto)
⑧
Once the text is inserted, use the collage function of LINEcamera next.
Set the image size to 3:4 and choose the collage frame with two images arranged vertically.
⑨
Place the previously saved photo gray-style images in two.
(It will be manual, but try to adjust so they have nearly the same size.)
⑩
Here’s the completed image after saving ♡
⑪
Finally, print and cut to finish.
If you don’t have a printer at home, you can register the image with Seven-Eleven's "Easy Net Print" and print it at a convenience store! ♡
I Want to Create Request Cards with Memories of That Person ♩
Request cards are paper items prepared for close friends, former superiors, teachers you are grateful to, and relatives invited to the ceremony.
If those cards had film-style memories of the bride and groom, it would be moving...!
Brides-to-be who plan to make request cards should definitely consider this design! ♡
