Amazing Performances That Caught My Eye

When it comes to wedding performances, it's really hard to decide what to do, right?

Especially in this day and age, we need to think about the content while ensuring proper infection control measures, so it can be more challenging than simply following the same old ways.

Whatever you do, it requires creativity and arrangement that aligns with today's era.

Amidst this, I would like to introduce some performances that I found wonderful, amazing, and interesting ♡ while browsing Instagram.

Carrying the square Uber Eats backpack seen on the street, serving drinks at each table *

The unique point is changing "Uber" to the couple's last name.

During the period when serving alcohol was not allowed, they couldn't uncork or pour directly into cups, but being able to hand out gifts to guests with a cheerful "It's Uber Eats♩" sounds like a lot of fun.

A performance where the wedding rings are delivered to the bride and groom by a ring girl or ring boy during the ceremony.

It’s common to ask relative's children to do this, but this bride randomly chose from all the guests.

They placed surprise boxes at everyone’s seats in advance, and the person who found the cookie inside got to walk down the aisle to deliver the rings *

Considering the risk of infection, only one person was chosen.

The thrilling surprise of not knowing who would be selected until the very last moment was especially impressive for a wedding ceremony.

A fun performance where the bride and groom cut a goal tape upon entering (or exiting) the reception, just like in a marathon.

Guests were asked to write messages on the goal tape ♡

Getting guests to write messages is a classic idea, but using a goal tape instead of colored papers or polaroid photos, and using it during entry and exit, makes it impactful.

Enjoying summer with watermelon smashing ♩

The idea of doing watermelon smashing at a wedding is already innovative and interesting, but due to COVID-19, since they couldn't shout out, the bride and groom aimed based on the sound of applause from the guests.

Indeed, you can somewhat tell if you’re on target or not by the intensity of the applause.

As a form of entertainment, both the performers and the spectators can have fun.

While it's common to have guests hold glow sticks upon re-entering, the idea of putting numbers on each glow stick and then holding a lottery is really smooth and nice ♡

Even if the bride has no plan for a costume change or a quiz on it,

With this method, they can create a sparkling entrance with the lights from the glow sticks and transition to a guest-participatory performance, making it worthwhile.

An idea where the bride and groom enter together with guests after the costume change *

Having guests escort them for the entrance instead of a mid-ceremony break is quite rare.

It must fill the selected guest with a sense of honor.

I realized that the entrance doesn’t always have to be just the bride and groom together!

Lastly, having guests think of and write a user manual for the bride and groom (personality traits and handling points).

And then, from those, the bride and groom's parents selected the “best one” instead of the couple themselves.

It allows you to learn about the bride and groom from various perspectives—friends' and colleagues' views, as well as their parents’ views as children.

It seems like a performance where you can learn more about the couple.
