"Sghr," Loved for Nearly 90 Years
When it comes to Japanese glass brands, "Sugahara," founded in 1932, is well known.
Sugahara's workshop is located in Kujukuri, Chiba Prefecture.
Skilled artisans at Sugahara, who are well-versed in some of the best glass in Japan, create beautiful plates, glasses, and vases entirely by hand, forming shapes at the moment glass solidifies after being heated to about 1400°C.
Its transparency and breathtaking artistic beauty are exceptional. (Even though they are made of the same glass, they are completely different from glass products at 100 yen shops. The texture feels different too.)
The designs have a simple yet distinct charm that is unique to Sghr.♡
They are a staple for wedding favors and gifts for weddings.
Focus on Ring Stands*
In this article, we will focus on the ring stands that Sugahara offers.
This crescent-shaped ring stand, resembling a horn, is the most famous one and is often used as a ring pillow for ceremonies.
You can thread one ring on each side or display two on one side.♡
Without engraving, it costs 2,750 yen, and with engraving, it's 4,730 yen.
This Design Also Catches My Eye! <First One>
I’ve known about the crescent ring stand for a while, but I recently discovered this lovely design when I stopped by Sugahara at Matsuya Ginza.
The first thing that caught my eye was a heart-shaped small ring holder that can hold one ring.
I only knew about the heart-shaped vases called "Heart Curva" at Sugahara, so...
I fell in love at first sight with this small and cute glass heart ring holder.♡
It comes in two sizes.
There are two types: a sparkling glass type (880 yen) and a matte texture type reminiscent of sea glass (990 yen).
It's cheap and cute, and I thought it would be nice to buy two for my husband and place them side by side!♡
