Thoughts on Invitation Hair*

The other day, I attended a friend's wedding from my school days.

In the morning, I got my hair styled at a salon, and I would like to share my thoughts from that moment.

I was quite indecisive about what hairstyle to go for, but I decided to try the popular and intriguing 【tight ponytail】.

You've probably seen it before; it's an arrangement where the hair is wrapped around a low ponytail.

Hairstyles that have this nuance and require a sense of balance and style are difficult to do by myself,

and considering my relationship with friends and the atmosphere of the wedding venue, I thought it would be fine to go for a less formal hairstyle. So, I decided to try this arrangement that I had wanted to do at least once.

As a result, it turned out very stylish, and I was extremely satisfied!

However, there was one personal concern... 【It looks completely indistinguishable from the front】.

I knew it, but...!

I have always known that when you have a ponytail, the arrangement gets concealed when viewed from the front,

but when it comes to weddings, the moments when your photo will be taken are usually,

① When everyone goes to take pictures at the main table

② When the bride and groom visit each table for photos

Those are the main occasions.

There are hardly any photos taken from the back, and the memories and posts on social media are primarily group photos.

So, when I looked back at the photos later, I realized that even though I got a stylish hairstyle, the core arrangement wasn’t visible, understandable, or memorable at all... and I felt a bit of sadness.

So, from now on, when I get my hair set, I personally think:

"I want an invitation hairstyle that looks cute from the front."

Cute Hairstyles from the Front*

Here are some arrangements I would like to try for the next wedding ♡.

Half-Up ♡

Example 1. Create wavy waves in the hair

Example 2. Gather only the hair at the crown for a casual look

Example 3. A simple half-up with the ends curled once, adorned with a Ferragamo barrette

(I want to match it with Ferragamo shoes too ♡)

Gibson Tuck♡

Example 1. I want to make a thick and large bun as wide as possible to the side

Example 2. Leaving more loose hair out also looks cute with a Gibson tuck

Example 3. Create significant volume in the top hair

Example 4. Make the bun wide, almost to the back of the ears!

I Want to Consider the Cuteness from the Front*

At weddings, the memories that everyone looks back on or shares on social media are often group photos taken at the main table or by table.

If you're going to appear in a cute hairstyle in those moments, I personally believe that 【a hairstyle that looks good from the front and has a stylish arrangement】 is the best.

If you're thinking about what kind of invitation hair to have, please keep this perspective in mind when deciding on your hairstyle!*
