Michel Bach Cookies*
Do you know "Michel Bach" located at Shukugawa Station on the Hankyu Railway in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture?
It's a sweets shop that sells a variety of confections such as cakes and baked goods♡
The owner chef trained in Paris with the famous Sadaharu Aoki.
The most popular flagship product is this cookie***
"Shukugawa Cookie Rose."
A lineup♡
These cookies are very cute, shaped like flowers.
Apricot and Chocolate*
The cookies are characterized by their buttery aroma and thick, crunchy texture. There are two types: vanilla cookies with apricot jam and chocolate cookies, both of which are incredibly addictive and easy to eat*
It seems they take three days to make each cookie by hand.
(The dough is rested for two days!)
The chocolate is smooth, and the apricot jam sparkles like a jewel.
The appearance, dusted with plenty of powdered sugar, is also adorable.
Truly delicious cookies can make you eat endlessly without stopping....... This cookie allows you to experience that sensation of amazement♡
The Phantom Cookie........!!
The cookies from Michel Bach are referred to as "phantom cookies."
The reason for that is the incredibly long line even before the shop opens, making it possible that you might not be able to buy them even if you wait......
Currently, there are no online orders or reservations, so they cannot be purchased through mail order.
They are that popular and loved, making them hard to obtain.
The shop's hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, and there is a system for receiving numbered tickets before opening.
Someone shared their experience, so I will quote them directly*
******************
Upon arrival, there’s a clipboard with a memo paper where you can write your name, address, and phone number. You will receive a numbered ticket in exchange 😊
Since it contains personal information, you will hold onto that memo until the ticket distribution time.
Then, when the distribution time arrives, you exchange the memo for the ticket and hold onto it until you go to pick up your order after they open✨

Cookies Roses I Want to Try Someday*
The Shukugawa Cookie Rose from Michel Bach costs 1,450 yen for a box of 18. You can purchase up to five boxes per person.
There are many lovely confectionery shops in the Nishinomiya area of Shukugawa, but Michel Bach stands out for both its difficulty of acquisition and the taste of its products♡
It’s frustrating that I can’t buy them unless I go there, especially as someone living in another prefecture...
However, when I eventually go to Hyogo, I absolutely want to line up early in the morning to buy and taste these cookies.
They are sure to be a hit as a gift***
