The World of Kaleidoscopes...!
There is a spot in Tohoku where you can take photos that make it feel like you've stepped into a kaleidoscope♡
In Fukushima Prefecture, at the Inawashiro Herb Garden.
The colorful umbrellas hanging above are a common sight in places like Karuizawa's Harunire Terrace and Nagasaki's Huis Ten Bosch...
Here at the Inawashiro Herb Garden, in addition to the umbrellas arranged neatly on the ceiling,
✅ one wall is adorned with "washi" (Japanese paper) umbrellas
✅ and it features a water surface that reflects all the umbrellas.
This is its unique characteristic ***
If you focus on just the area with the washi umbrellas, it completely embodies the world of "Wa" (Japanese tradition) and "Miyabi" (elegance).
You can stand here and take photos*
At Inawashiro Herb Garden, you can take photos in front of this wall of washi umbrellas*
Just the two of you in a world of mystery, with no one else around.
It seems many couples enjoy taking their pre-wedding photos here.
Seeing your reflection on the water's surface is quite romantic.
Some even take photos in their dresses!
Until November*
The Inawashiro Herb Garden's Umbrella Sky will end on November 21, 2021 (Sunday).
In November, it is open only on weekends.
Hours: 10 AM - 3 PM (Last entry at 2 PM)
While next year's schedule has not been decided, it has been held for the past few years, so I would like to check again in the summer*
The Umbrella Sky is held in a greenhouse, but there is also a flower field outside, so it seems enjoyable just to visit.
In autumn, cosmos and kochia bloom beautifully. What a sight...!
A Perfect Blend of Umbrella Sky and the Uyuni Salt Flat!
The Umbrella Sky at Inawashiro Herb Garden is not only about the colorful umbrellas on the ceiling,
but also the reflection on the water surface, reminiscent of the Uyuni Salt Flat, which is incredibly magical. It’s the best of both worlds.
Be sure to visit and take photos***
