I just got my ears pierced recently. I'm 27 years old.

My family asked me, "Why now?" but as I've grown up, I've developed an interest in jewelry rather than just accessories, and I finally wanted to get my ears pierced.

After all, most brands offer more earrings than ear cuffs, and there are overwhelmingly more variations available in earrings.

When searching for brand jewelry that matches my age and enhances my style, I felt that having my ears pierced is a prerequisite.

(Though there are earrings, I also thought it would be disappointing to buy an expensive pair and lose them easily...!)

Another deciding factor was when I wore long earrings that hung around my face.

Due to the part that holds the earlobe, the length and overall look can be quite different between wearing piercings and wearing earrings with the same design.

The visual difference made me feel somewhat less sophisticated, and I thought that maybe for adult women's fashion, piercings are the standard, which also influenced my decision to go for piercings.
