The method you choose may change depending on whether it's a Shinto ceremony or a human ceremony, as well as the atmosphere you want for your wedding.
Recently, I was surprised to see a new idea for delivering wedding rings, and I’d like to introduce it here ♡
Prepare a dummy box and ask a guest who guesses the ring correctly【Surprise Ring Box】
This method is an idea to completely surprise the guests who will bring the wedding rings, much like a gift guessing game ♡
Known as the 【Surprise Ring Ceremony】 or 【Surprise Ring Box】 ♡
Here’s how it works:
❶
Prepare ring-sized boxes equal to the number of guests. Place the real wedding rings in two of the boxes (those are the winners, while the others are dummies!).
❷
Place the boxes in the welcome area for guests to take (or have staff randomly distribute them or place them on chairs with the ceremony program).
*Make sure to separate the boxes for the groom's side and the bride's side.
❸
At the timing of the ring exchange, the host will signal guests holding boxes to open them simultaneously.
❹
Each side, the groom's and the bride's, will have one guest who had a wedding ring in their box bring the rings to the altar.
Isn't this idea amazing....??
It seems more suited for the reception than the ceremony, but it could work for a laid-back human ceremony as well ♡
Since shaking the boxes might reveal whether or not they contain rings, this bride placed candies in the dummy boxes ♡
A Completely Surprising Way to Deliver Wedding Rings♡
This unique idea for a 【Surprise Ring Ceremony】 ensures that neither the couple nor the guests nor the staff knows "who will bring the wedding rings" until the moment arrives.
If you found this completely surprising and fun, definitely consider trying it out!
