Let me introduce the brand Mellerio dits Meller.

Mellerio dits Meller is the world's oldest jeweler, with a history of over 400 years. Founded in 1613 near Place Vendôme in Paris, it has remained a rare family-run business, neither going public nor becoming part of a large corporate group.

Currently, it is in the 15th generation.

(Among the grands bijou, Mellerio dits Meller is the only one that continues to be family-run.)

The founder Mellerio, born in Italy, succeeded in France after an event that changed history by preventing a plot to assassinate Louis XIII...

As a reward for averting the assassination, he was granted the privilege to trade freely in France by Marie de' Medici, who was acting as regent in place of the king, which led him to start entering the palace with jewels.

Later, in the 9th generation, the still underage Jean-Baptiste Mellerio caught the eye of Marie Antoinette at the Palace of Versailles, garnered her favor, and was introduced as her favorite jeweler to the French nobility, establishing connections with various queens throughout history.
