I feel like Cymbidium (sometimes spelled as シンビジューム) is a popular flower lately♡

In the after bouquet I ordered for a painting, there were also Cymbidiums included....

In the floral arrangement at the Palace Hotel lobby, I thought, "This is my favorite one recently!♡," and it had Cymbidiums as well♡

I was impressed to learn that there is a Cymbidium called "Koi Otome" (恋乙女)!

Koi Otome....

It's romantic and girly, which makes my heart flutter.

⬇️ Here is the Cymbidium variety called Koi Otome.

Koi Otome is a variety developed by Ishida Orchid Farm located in Kochi Prefecture.

It just debuted in 2021, making it a new brand Cymbidium.

(The orchids produced by Ishida Farm are famous for being called "Walan.")

The characteristics of Koi Otome are:

✅ Petals that are not completely white but have a slight peach-colored gradient

✅ A deep pink lip (the colored part inside the flower)

✅ A smart and compact flower shape

That's what it is.
