"Instead of doing it simultaneously with 'Ready, Go!', it might be nice to hand the bouquet to each parent in turn for better photos! ♡"

About the 【Flow】 of the Bouquet Presentation

From the Bride and Groom to Their Parents.

The bouquet presentation, which conveys feelings of gratitude through flowers, is a climactic scene of the reception ♡

The bouquet presentation typically involves both families receiving flowers at the same time, but...

Freelance wedding planner Tadashi Kasuya shared a wonderful alternative idea, so let me introduce it ♡

Together, the Couple Handing Over to Their Parents in Order♡

This involves the bride and groom:

① First, handing over to the groom's parents

② Next, handing over to the bride's parents

Instead of presenting simultaneously, they hand the flowers over to each set of parents in order ♡

For Both Families! Capturing Great Photos for Each♡

By doing this, you can ensure that the photographer captures great photos of the bouquet presentation moment for "both families," which is the biggest benefit ♡

Indeed, if the bouquet is presented at the same time...

The photographer can only shoot from one side, so they can only capture expressions from either the groom's side or the bride's side effectively.

But! By presenting in succession, you can have each moment of the bouquet being handed over properly photographed, which is delightful ♡

② Then from the bride's side too ♡

Fathers and mothers, as well as fathers-in-law and mothers-in-law.

It's wonderful to be able to capture great expressions of both sets of important parents (and in-laws), including our own, and create better photographs.

It may take a little more time, but it should only be about 1 to 3 minutes longer. There shouldn't be any issues ♩

Another Wonderful Benefit ♡

After listening to Tadashi Kasuya, I realized another reason why this idea is wonderful.

By presenting the bouquet in order, each set of parents has the opportunity to witness the moment you are handing over the bouquet to each other ***

For parents, seeing their son or daughter greeting, shaking hands, and conversing with the other set of parents brings joy and reassurance.

“I think it’s important to show them a view they can only see at this moment,”

and I felt, indeed that’s true... (I had never thought about it before, so it was an eye-opener!)

It should become an endearing scene ♡

Definitely Consider This Option ♡

Bouquet presentation at the reception.

Instead of having both families present at once, I have introduced the idea of having the bride and groom hand over the bouquet in order, from the groom's parents to the bride's parents.

When I learned about this method, I thought, "Why haven't I thought of this before.....!" It truly is a wonderful idea ♡

Please consider this as one of your options.
