The Ishikiri Mountain Range in Ibaraki Prefecture is the largest quarry in Japan, continuing from the Meiji era for over 100 years.
It is said that a type of granite called Inada-ishi, which was used for the construction of Nihonbashi, Tokyo Station, and the National Diet Building, is quarried here.
The scenery looks like an ancient ruin!

This is a particularly recommended hidden spot for those in Northern Kanto.
Inatori Hosono Highlands in the Izu region boasts a prairie that offers a panoramic view of the Izu Islands, covering an area equivalent to 26 Tokyo Domes.

Location photos taken at Mount Aso are truly spectacular.

The areas around Mount Aso change depending on the volcanic eruption warning level, but it’s exhilarating to see plumes of smoke rising in the background ♡
