A Fresh Idea: Collect Day-of Photos in LINE's Anonymous Open Chat for Everyone to Share!

Have you ever used LINE's Open Chat?
LINE's Open Chat is an official LINE service that allows you to connect through a common theme and chat without being friends on LINE.
There are various chat rooms where you can discuss different topics, such as analyzing trending dramas, live commentary on your favorite sports team's matches, exchanging information about weddings, parenting, or studying, and you can freely join, browse, speak, or leave.
You can participate with a dedicated icon and nickname for each chat room, and you don't have to link it to your regular LINE account (it won't reveal your identity), so you can feel secure.
It's somewhat similar to an anonymous bulletin board (thread)*
You can access Open Chat from the usual chat list screen by clicking this button in the upper right corner.
It's used for sharing wedding photos and videos!
Recently, it seems that LINE's Open Chat is being used for guests to share photos and videos taken at weddings.
Open Chat can be set up as a closed chat room where only those who know the password (participation code) can enter. For instance, you can include a QR code and the password in a profile book to guide your guests.
👇 Here is an actual post from a bride ♡
You can join the Open Chat at any point and still see the previous exchanges, so joining at your convenience is perfectly fine.
Since you can't add friends from within the chat room, it won't be used for meeting new people.
Until now, it was mainstream to upload materials taken to the personal LINE of the bride and groom or to a group LINE album consisting of friends and family...
Now, photos and videos taken by guests who are not acquaintances can also be viewed and saved within the Open Chat.
In other words, everyone can share together ♡
It's amazing and new, isn’t it...!
It might be better not to share personal selfies or photos meant only for a small circle, but...
You can also see photos of the bride and groom from different locations and angles which is refreshing.
It seems like it could work well for family weddings or intimate weddings ♡
How to create a chat room (with participation code)
① Tap the green + mark at the bottom right of Open Chat
② Enter the chat room image, title, and message
③ Tap the three-line mark at the top right of the chat screen
(The image you set earlier will be the background of the chat screen. This will apply to everyone’s screens!)
④ From the “Other” ➡ “Public Settings” section, set the password under “Enter participation code”
That's it! ♡
You can share the link and QR code in the LINE group or include them in the profile book.
It might be worth trying out?
A new idea to have guests send and share photos and videos taken at weddings through LINE's Open Chat.
Many people may not have used Open Chat itself before, but it operates similarly to regular LINE and isn’t difficult to use, so it might be unexpectedly good?
Discuss it with your partner and definitely give it a try ***(You can also cancel sending messages!)**
