The product name, HANADAMA = 華珠 (Hanadama), refers to a special title given only to rare, lustrous pearls nurtured in the seas of Ise.

It is characterized by a strong luster (teri), no blemishes, and a perfect round shape.

Inside the Akoya shell-shaped langue de chat is a large piece of white chocolate inspired by those Hanadama pearls♡

It seems that pearl powder is also mixed into the white chocolate, giving it a crispy, melt-in-your-mouth texture♩

(Pearl powder is what you get when pearls are ground into a powder. It’s also used in traditional medicine.)
