"Special Feature on Engaging Rings: Stunning Brands Beyond Diamonds, Including Pearls and Colored Stones!"

The Story of Choosing a Non-Diamond Engagement Ring
It is standard and traditional for engagement rings received during a proposal to feature diamonds...
However, I received a colored gemstone ring instead of a diamond as my engagement ring.
(He told me to choose whatever I liked, so I picked a Pomellato white topaz nude ring ♡)
Of course, I understand that engagement rings are typically associated with diamonds. Diamonds are the hardest stones on Earth, are rare and valuable, and possess an eternal brilliance that will never fade...
I also know that they can be passed down to children or grandchildren someday and become a lifelong treasure...
But taking all that into consideration, I still think,
💭 “It’s a waste to wear something only occasionally; I’d prefer something stylish that I can wear all the time.”
💭 “I couldn’t find a diamond engagement ring that really spoke to me among the many similar designs…”
💭 “If that’s the case, I want the ring I’ve admired for a long time, which is just as much as my engagement ring budget, even though it’s expensive! ♡”
So, I decided against a typical diamond engagement ring and had him buy me a ring from my favorite brand with my favorite gemstone ♡
It may not feel like a traditional engagement ring, but I enjoy and feel happy wearing it every day as a fashion accessory ♡
(When I wear it on my left ring finger, it still feels special, and it pairs perfectly with my wedding band.)
He also said he was glad to be able to gift me something he loves, so I have no regrets about choosing a non-diamond engagement ring, even though it’s different from everyone else’s ♡
There might be brides out there thinking the same way...!
From here on, I’d like to introduce some brand rings featuring gemstones other than diamonds that could be great alternatives for engagement rings ♡
(1) Pomellato
The Pomellato nude ring is famous for its exposed large stones that sparkle and give a cute, feminine impression ♡
The white topaz I chose shines transparently, so it has a vibe quite similar to diamonds (more like the atmosphere of an engagement ring).
(I’ve even been mistaken for wearing a diamond when I had it on my left ring finger! ♡)
The rose gold band also blends nicely with the skin.
The staff at Pomellato mentioned that there are customers who purchase the nude ring for engagements.
There are plenty of color stone varieties to choose from, so selecting a birthstone or a gemstone in your favorite color is also lovely ♡
The nude rings start from around ¥244,000.
(2) TASAKI
TASAKI's Balance series is also an admired ring that I hope to have someday ♡
The signature ring with five stones is well-known (from ¥445,000).
And the Neo ring with three stones (from ¥363,000).
The Balance series also includes earrings and necklaces, so getting the ring for an engagement and then adding other items for anniversaries in five or ten years would be wonderful ♡
Using items from the same series is the height of luxury ♡
(3) Van Cleef & Arpels
The Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra ring is popular too, especially with mother-of-pearl ♡
Even with the same mother-of-pearl, it has a different vibe depending on whether it’s white gold or gold.
If you’re considering making it an engagement ring, it’s recommended to buy it together with a wedding ring made of the same material ♡
Starting from ¥445,500.
Black onyx and brown tiger's eye are also cute, so I’m curious about those ♡
(4) Boucheron
Boucheron's Serpent Bohème is a series inspired by jewelry that founder Frédéric gifted his wife as a talisman.
The teardrop-shaped gemstones surrounded by milgrain detailing are adorable ♡
The photo shows a rhodolite garnet.
The blue aquamarine Serpent Bohème is also popular and often seen ♡
There was a wedding band in the Serpent Bohème collection, but it seems to be out of stock right now. I thought it would be lovely to buy them together.
(5) Buccellati
Have you heard of Buccellati? It is a brand that creates jewelry with artsy designs using gold and silver techniques...
The Opératule ring is especially delicate and beautiful, so I highly recommend it ♡
It has a significant size and floral design, giving it a glamorous look.
Available from ¥286,000.
Maybe it’s okay not to have a diamond ♡
I’ve introduced some brands with rings that could potentially serve as engagement rings without diamond designs.
“Maybe it’s okay not to have a diamond.”
“I have a ring I’ve always dreamed of wanting.”
If you feel that way, choosing something like that could be a good idea too ♡
I understand it can be confusing, but may you find a wonderful, favorite ring*
