I Want to Prepare a Photo Panel ♡
The popular photo panel idea for decorating the welcome space.
Turn pre-shoot photos or memories from dates into a photo panel, and attach them all in one place on the lobby or hallway wall.
It’s nice that the wall doesn’t look lonely, and guests get to see their favorite photos, giving it an exhibition-like feel ♡
Some brides have even decided to only use the photo panel as the decoration for the welcome space because it’s so vibrant and eye-catching!
How to Make It ♡
DIYing the photo panel is the mainstream method.
Here are the steps to make it.
① Print the photos you want to display on A4 or A5 thick paper (plain paper is also okay)
Many brides seem to be printing at convenience stores or with home printers.
② For the base, use a foam board that you can buy at a 100-yen store. Cut it slightly smaller than the photo.
Daiso's "Foam Anything Board" is a standard product.
③ Stick double-sided tape on the foam board and attach the photos.
④ Cut off the excess photo with a cutter (or fold it back along the foam board and secure it with tape).
And that's it, you’re done! ♡
If you want more thickness, stack two foam boards or come up with other ideas.
It’s recommended to print the photos with a matte finish rather than glossy, as it blends better with the texture of the photo panel.
Many brides also opt for black and white or sepia tones. Try matching the arrangements with the atmosphere of the venue's walls! ♡

While it is common not to add much in terms of framing to the photo panel, it adds a nice touch and looks stylish ♡
How to Display the Photo Panel [Arrangement & Layout]
Here, I'll introduce some stylish layouts for displaying many photo panels, based on real brides' photos!
Check out the patterns I’ve organized for decorating.
① Horizontal (Diamond-like)
It has a shape like a diamond ♡
This bride created a photo panel only with fitting photos, allowing people to see the dresses she didn't wear as well!
② Horizontal (Changing heights for imbalance)
High on the left, low on the right. The sense of imbalance is cute ♡
You don't need to be precise about the height or spacing, so decorate while checking the balance! *
③ Horizontal (Mountain-like)
A decoration that's high at the center, resembling a small mountain.
A gentle mountain shape ♡
④ Horizontal (Collected look)
Overall, it looks beautifully organized in a horizontal shape ♡
⑤ Horizontal (Neat rectangle)
Whether to keep the height and width perfectly aligned or to have an asymmetrical look depends on personal preference.
For brides who want a tidy, unified display, this is recommended! ♡
⑥ Diagonal (Recommended for displaying in stair spaces)
When displaying photo panels on the stairs inside the venue, it's conventional to place them diagonally at eye level. *
⑦ Vertical
If the wall space isn't very wide, displaying them vertically is also a good option! ♡
⑧ Somewhat square-like
If you have 5–10 photos, arranging them somewhat square-like can be stylish too! ♡
⑨ Display with equal spacing
A pattern where each photo is spaced evenly both vertically and horizontally ♡
This decoration method is perfect for wide walls or when you have many photos.
⑩ Utilize surrounding items
Using venue lights and wall decorations to complement the photo panel is also a stylish idea, so it’s recommended! ♡

Under the pampas grass floral decoration ♡
To avoid overlapping with the flowers used for the flower buffet, place them at just the right height! ♡
⑪ Other cute ideas I thought of
Uniform photos of the same theme ♡
An idea to display a welcome board with canvas art together ♡
How to Decorate the Photo Panel??
The photo panel is a classic and popular idea that many brides are incorporating into their welcome spaces recently!
If you leave the decoration up to chance on the day, there might be times when it turns out differently than you envisioned...
Therefore, it’s best to try out various arrangements at home first. Once you find the ideal layout, take a photo to ask them to recreate it that way! ♡
To Make an Elegant Photo Panel ♡
When displaying a photo panel, it's a good idea to add some text to several of the photos or include designs without photos (only text) for an elegant touch!
Marry sells Korean-style wedding posters, so using these can also be a stylish addition to the photo panel! *
Since it's a Canva template, you can freely edit the colors and text.
Just by adding a few, it’ll become a stylish accent for the photo panel, so be sure to take advantage of this! ♡
