This cake is Tokyo Kai-kan's Traditional Wedding Cake.

Tokyo Kai-kan will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2022 (Congratulations!), and as the name "traditional" suggests, it features a classic and timeless wedding cake design. ♡

The traditional cake is not like the recently popular fresh cream and fruit cakes; it is a baked cake filled with dried fruits and nuts.

(It is not an imitation cake either.)

The fruits and nuts used have been carefully soaked in brandy for over six months, and the cake batter is baked over a full day.

After that, it is allowed to rest for two weeks to further enhance the flavors, and finally, it is coated with white chocolate.

Since it is coated with white chocolate, the cake itself is a bit firmer, which is a point unique to the traditional cake. ♡

The delicate sugar craft flowers scattered around it are also cute,

and the decoration at the bottom is a horn that brings happiness ♩ (It looks like something out of a Brothers Grimm fairy tale ♡)

Of course, everything is handmade.
