While I was browsing Instagram, I came across a lovely welcome board ♡

This is a large welcome board that consists of three pieces forming one work of art!

You can sometimes find art posters displayed as three pieces forming one work at interior shops. It’s stylish to deliberately divide what could normally be designed as a single large piece into three. ♡

Welcome Board Using IKEA Boards ♡

I asked MISAKI (@misaki___wedding), who created this welcome board, how she made it.

MISAKI used a set of three large canvas boards called "PJÄTTERYD" from IKEA (5,990 yen) as the base for her DIY project. By the way, to be precise, it was MISAKI’s husband who did the DIY. It’s so wonderful that he made a welcome board! ✨

The dimensions are a big size of 182 cm in width and 118 cm in height!

She used Illustrator to split the desired photos into three sections matching the canvas size and added text.

Once the image editing was completed, she had it printed on canvas material by a printing company called [Sokupuri] (placing an order for three to fit the IKEA boards ♡), and it was finished by adhering them to the boards!

Three Pieces Forming One Work is Wonderful ♡

I introduced a welcome board that connects through three pieces. Artboards that are divided like this give an impression of being displayed in foreign living rooms or bedrooms and are stylish.

Not only does it look stylish, but if you want a large canvas board but face the practical issue of how difficult it is to transport a large one by car, this welcome board may provide a solution.

Simply dividing the photos gives a chic and interior-like appearance, making it likely to become a trend! ♡
