Amazing DIY Discovery ♡
I discovered an incredible wedding DIY idea on Instagram that I've never seen before.
It's a table number made with embossed paper that's actually [toasted with incense] ♡
Here are the handmade table numbers made by ℝ𝕌ℝ𝕌ℝ𝕌 (@r_wd.2210) for their wedding at Blue Reman Nagoya.
Can you see the edges of the randomly torn embossed paper, which are black (or brown) and have a burnt appearance? ♡
The idea of creating this burnt design with incense is both stylish and wonderful ♡
It gives an antique vibe, enhancing the overall aesthetic*
Does paper absorb the scent?
What I'm curious about with this DIY is whether the paper absorbs the scent of the incense.
When I asked ℝ𝕌ℝ𝕌ℝ𝕌, they said, "It smelled while toasting with incense, but neither the burnt smell nor the incense scent transferred to the paper."
If there's no scent, it's great because even if placed on the guest tables on the day, it won't mix with the surrounding flowers or food aromas.
By the way...
They used Daiso's white musk incense.
It's a pack of 20 sticks, and it was sufficient to toast table numbers for 11 pieces.
