Couture Flower Artisan
In Hiroo Plaza, Shibuya, Tokyo, there is an atelier and shop called "Roses mutsuko nakamura," run by a woman named Mutsuko Nakamura.
Mutsuko Nakamura is a craftsman who creates fabric flowers.
She began her creative work in 1970, and it has been over 50 years.
She selects fabrics, cuts them, dyes them, and creates layer upon layer of fabric flowers, producing them across various genres from corsages to wedding and interior designs.
Here is Mutsuko Nakamura herself. She has also appeared on the TV Tokyo program "Solomon's Flow."
She has collaborated with Takami Bridal, and her designs include "Couture Garden Yui" and its second collection "M Collection."
Romantic and dramatic Japanese wedding attire from Takami Bridal adorned with organdy flowers.
Surely many of you have seen these on social media or their website at least once.
These are also works by Mutsuko Nakamura ♡
By the way, it seems that the headpieces worn by models in shoots for Takami Bridal and Magnolia White are often by Mutsuko Nakamura.
In addition to serving customers at her Hiroo atelier, she also sometimes speaks directly with brides at bridal fairs such as at the Tokyo Kaikan.
If you are lucky enough to be served by her, you might get excited and say, "Wow! I got a suggestion from the Mutsuko Nakamura!"
Such headpieces ♡
Introducing some of the latest works from MUTSUKO NAKAMURA.
For instance, this one. A headpiece with flowers that cover the entire head with a voluminous appearance.
The scattered lilies of the valley are lovely. The greens are all made from parts that are dyed one by one.

A headpiece of green dyed silk organza flowers. The bouquet of fabric flowers she is holding is wonderful with its transparency.
You can feel the artistry in the delicate, fluffy, dandelion-like quality...♡
Accessories like earrings can also be purchased to match the headpiece.
If you want a more understated head accessory... it seems that you can order accessories and bouquets only as well.
Bride Wearing Examples ♡
Here are actual photos of brides wearing these creations during weddings and pre-wedding shoots*
With a classic silk dress, a fluffy and voluminous mutsuko nakamura headpiece goes perfectly!
Please take a look at the second picture! This sense of volume is unique to brides.

Even if it’s not a size that covers the whole head, smaller pieces for one side are also adorable.
I want to visit the store if I’m interested ♡
The Hiroo Plaza atelier operates on a completely reservation-only basis.
They seem to have bridal fairs every month, so if you want to see the actual products, it would be great to stop by.
They also hold lessons where you can learn how to make fabric flowers♪
