VIKTOR & ROLF was established by Viktor Horsting from Israel and Rolf Snoeren from the Netherlands.

Both were born in 1969 (54 years old as of 2023), and they are classmates from the Dutch art university ArtEZ Academy (Arnhem Academy)＊

After being active as members of the young Dutch designer group "The Dutch Wave," they participated as invited members in a haute couture collection in 1998. This garnered significant attention, and they debuted in the Paris Pret-a-Porter collection for Fall/Winter 2000.

They also garnered attention in 2006 for their collaboration with H&M♡
