Do you know about the "Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge"?
Take a look♡
It’s a staircase bridge that seems to continue all the way to Mt. Fuji.
Right now, it's becoming a hot topic among overseas travel-loving Instagrammers as a photo spot♡
(It's popular abroad, but I think it's not well-known in Japan!)
Where is the Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge located?
The Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge connects National Route 139 and National Route 1.
(The address is Tadehara, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture)

National Route 1 is a road that connects Tokyo and Osaka, running horizontally through the lower part of Honshu on the map.
Conversely, National Route 139 runs from Fuji City in Shizuoka Prefecture to Nishitama in Tokyo. On the map, it stretches vertically from Shizuoka to Route 1.
The Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge is at the intersection of these two national routes! (By the way, it's a relatively new bridge, having opened in 2016. "Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge" is the official name, not just a nickname.)
The nearest train station is Shin-Fuji Station, served by the Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen, and it's about a 30-minute walk from the station.
This is what it looks like from the air. The bridge that crosses the Uruigawa River right after the intersection is the Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge.
There are stairs to cross the bridge on both sides of National Route 139, but you can see Mt. Fuji best from the left side!
It might be hard to take a good picture while driving, but of course, you can also see Mt. Fuji well from the roadway🗻 It looks refreshing.
Beautiful photos taken at the Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge♡
A dress in Mt. Fuji colors♡
The twilight is lovely too.
A big jump!
Great for wedding photos and pre-shoots♡
(I haven't seen it yet, but shooting in traditional Japanese attire would surely be wonderful too!)
It's also fantastic when Mt. Fuji is hidden by clouds.
It shows many different faces🗻
Of course, on cloudy days, Mt. Fuji may not be visible.
It's pretty mysterious to think that something so big and so close can be hidden away like that.
I want to visit the Dream Bridge!
A bridge that looks like it continues to Mt. Fuji, the "Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge," makes you want to visit at least once, right…!
Not just the Mt. Fuji Dream Bridge, but lately, there are many foreign tourists, and they are posting many photos of Japan taken from slightly different perspectives than Japanese people do.*
It feels like a reverse import, but beautiful photos touch people's hearts, and I thought it would be nice to try to mimic good photos more and more♡ 📸
