Menu and Place Card Together ♡
Commonly seen at overseas weddings, an item that combines the menu and place card*
By using a eyelet punch to create holes in both the menu and place card, and securing them with a ribbon or string, you can keep them together.
Combining the menu and place card prevents the paper from getting scattered, and the look is stylish, like it has a tag attached, right? 🏷️
How to Create a Menu + Place Card*
An item that integrates the menu and place card is commonly made using an eyelet punch.
🔸 Materials
① Menu (It's typical to have the dish menu on the front and the drink menu on the back. Make sure the layout avoids overlapping text with the place card! The usual design for the text layout is to align it to one side rather than center.)
② Place card (Often in a long, tag-like shape.)
③ Eyelet punch
➡ Find eyelet punches on Rakuten*
④ Ribbon or string
You can create the menu and place card yourself, or it seems nice to buy pre-made items and arrange them yourself too. ♡
Here are various menu and place card combinations!

Just making holes with an eyelet punch without tying the ribbon gives a stylish impression*
It seems that the menu is made from a soft embossed paper called "Janfelt" from a paper supplier.
The back features the drink menu. 🥂
Menu with Place Card ❷
A stylish menu with white lettering on black paper, secured with an eyelet punch and gold ribbon ♡
This bride created two versions of the menu in Japanese and English due to her international wedding.
To avoid confusion for the venue staff about which language to place at the guest tables, she decided to combine the place card with the menu! A thoughtful touch*
Since the black paper with white text cannot be printed with a home printer, she requested printing from a printing company called "Prinpa"🏷️
Menu with Place Card ❷
An item that fastens a beige place card to a white menu with an eyelet punch and binds it with a matching beige ribbon.
The flyers were also unified in a beige color scheme ♡

The wavy wave was cut using a "12-inch decorative trimmer" from Creative Memories* (Unfortunately, it wasn't available on Amazon or Rakuten...! The bride purchased it from Mercari.)
The paper is "OK Sand Color" by Takeo*
