Cute LEGO Marriage Certificates ♡
The use of LEGO/minifigs (LEGO mini figures) for marriage certificates has been a staple in overseas weddings for a long time, and recently, it's become more common in Japan too! ♡
A marriage certificate made using LEGO toy blocks is full of charm:
✅ Customizable shapes
✅ Guests can participate in its creation
✅ Has an original feel
✅ Enjoyable even after children are born
It's full of appeal! ♡
Let me introduce how real couples arranged their LEGO marriage certificates!*
LEGO Marriage Certificate Made with Guests ①
LEGO is attached to an arch-shaped acrylic board to create the marriage certificate ♡
Guests' names were printed on transparent stickers using a label maker!*
At the top, there are LEGO figures of the bride and groom.
Both of them are holding champagne and laughing, which is adorable 🥂
Various minifigs were prepared for the guests,
Guests were able to choose their favorites and place them on their name blocks ♡
The mini figures of the bride and groom were placed on the certificate during the ceremony, and it was completed! ♡
Here is the finished marriage certificate.
There are many unique minifigs like Mickey, Minnie, pandas, bananas, chickens, and pizzas, making it really cute!*
LEGO Marriage Certificate Made with Guests ②
This marriage certificate features blocks glued to a corkboard (the corkboard size is 45×60 cm)*
The text on the certificate was added with a transfer sticker, but the bride wished she had handwritten it since the transfer sticker didn’t blend well with the cork…! (Although the bride regrets the transfer sticker, I think it turned out readable with the white base below the text!)
The family wedding is adorable with their child in the center! ♡
The bride, a Disney fan, had Cinderella's Castle and Lotso and Rex from Toy Story next to the instructions 🧸🦕
The tray for placing the minifigs is also in a Mickey shape, which is cute! ♡
Instructions 📝
① Find your favorite minifig
② Find the block with your name written on it
③ Gently place it in front of the block!
※ It's easier to place while bowing the lower block
④ Completed! Feel free to have them hold flag parts!
Thank you for your cooperation
Guests placed the minifigs, and during the ceremony, the bride and groom signed the corkboard with a magic marker, completing it! ♡
Here is the finished marriage certificate**
The colorful blocks are filled with Disney characters, making it really cute! ♡
It seems that the names of the guests were printed and stuck on waterproof clear label stickers!*
LEGO Marriage Certificate Made with Guests ③
This marriage certificate is created by guests writing their names on blocks and stacking them freely, without using minifigs ♡
Guests wrote their names on blocks at the welcome space…
During the ceremony, the bride and groom also wrote their names on blocks…
Finally, the bride and groom's minifigs were placed on top…
And it's complete! ♡
LEGO Marriage Certificate Made with Guests ④
This marriage certificate also involves guests writing their names on LEGO blocks and stacking them freely.
A garden chapel, overseen by a priest, is placed on a pink base plate, with the guests' names written on the blocks behind it.*
The instructions are also cute! ♡
LEGO Marriage Certificate Made with Guests ⑤
This marriage certificate was created using a discontinued LEGO wedding kit! ♡
A dog minifig was separately purchased, representing the couple’s beloved dog who couldn't attend the wedding 🐶
It seems the blocks had guests' names printed on clear label stickers from Seria, which were then stacked!
Four colors of blocks in gray, pink, green, and lavender were prepared! ♡
How to Collect Minifigs?
LEGO minifigs can be created by combining parts like heads, bodies, and legs at LEGO stores or LEGOLAND* (This is called the Build-a-Minifigure service.)
Prices vary by store, but it costs around 1,800 yen for three figures.
It's fun to create original ones, but preparing enough for all guests can get quite pricey, right?
➡ At the official LEGO store on Rakuten, a set of three pre-made combinations is sold for 1,790 yen!
Therefore, those who want to have many minifigs might use compatible products instead of official ones.
Compatible minifigs can be obtained for around 100 yen each.
➡ A set of 32 compatible LEGO minifigs for 2,880 yen is here
