The Murou Yamaue Park Art Forest is a relatively new park, established in 2006.

It was developed as a symbolic project of the Art Arcadia plan, which promotes unique village creation from the perspective of culture and the arts in Murou Village, and it is inspired by the concept of "heaven."

The Art Forest was a plan conceived by sculptor Takekichi Inoue to revitalize his declining hometown, but unfortunately, he passed away in 1997 before its completion.

Therefore, his old friend, sculptor Dani Karavan, took over and completed the project.

Is a shooting permit required for the Art Forest? What are the fees?

To take wedding photos at the Murou Yamaue Park Art Forest, a shooting permit is required.

You can submit the application form for the Murou Yamaue Park Art Forest facility use permission available on the Uda City website to Uda City.

The usage fee is 1,040 yen per group per day, and additionally, there is an admission fee (410 yen for adults) for each person.

Shooting is allowed on weekends and holidays, but weekends tend to be crowded, so weekdays are recommended.

The usage fee includes a waiting room and changing room, so you can change and refresh on-site♡ How wonderful...!

Winter in Nara can be cold with snow and ice, so it is advisable to schedule the shoot when it’s warmer＊
