Happy Couple Announcement: Exciting Marry Event Information to be Held in Omotesando! ♡

We held a bridal event in collaboration with TRUNK(HOTEL)×marry!♡

Hello, this is Haruno Tsuzaki, the editor-in-chief of marry.＊Last weekend, I would like to report on the first special bridal fair of TRUNK(HOTEL)×marry.♡ This event was quite rare for marry, as it was an event for couples to participate together.＊

We were very happy to have many loving couples participate and talk with us.＊ Thank you very much!♡

＼Serious Talk／‘A Workshop to Draw Your Ideal Couple’

In this event of TRUNK(HOTEL)×marry, couples who are having their wedding at TRUNK(HOTEL) can experience a workshop designed specifically for them.＊

TRUNK(HOTEL), which proposes weddings with the concept of ‘growing together as a couple,’ includes a workshop where couples discuss their ideals and draw their vision of an ideal couple.♡

First, participants select cards that represent important words in their lives from a variety of options and share their choices with each other.

This workshop aims to deepen understanding between partners, and just the act of choosing these "keywords for life" showcases each person's unique personality in interesting ways.＊ Some couples chose similar keywords, while others completely different ones—there was a great variety.

Each person explains why they chose their particular word, and when we delve deeper into seemingly simple choices like "friendship" or "kindness," it reveals new sides to each other that they might not have known before, which is refreshing.

Together as a couple, we created this kind of drawing!♡

By aligning our ideals, we draw the 'ideal image of a couple.'＊

I participated in this workshop with my fiancé, and we created this drawing together!♡ We want to stay in love forever, so our theme was 'love!' We expressed our desire to live surrounded by things we love by filling a heart with things we enjoy.＊

We also discovered such adorable visions: “I want to live with flowers,” “I want to have a dog,” “I want to travel,” and so on. They decided on their ideals and goals together and drew them! It was great to see them specify everything from the breed of the dog they want to how many dishes will be at dinner.＊

Discussions about 'how we want to live' feel sober and are opportunities that rarely come up, making the workshop very fresh and enjoyable, and I was completely satisfied!

The organizers of this event, ‘TRUNK(HOTEL),’ is the first hotel by Take And Give Needs, opening in Harajuku's Cat Street in spring 2017.＊ Currently under construction, the event took place at the bridal salon of TRUNK(HOTEL), the ‘Preparation Room’!♡

This salon, located in Omotesando, is stylish, spacious, and very nice!♡

It's equipped with free Wi-Fi, and anyone can come and go freely, even using it as a café. One of the charms is that you can enjoy coffee from the famous coffee shop “Double Tall Café” in Shibuya for just 100 yen, which has recently become a hot topic on social media among brides-to-be and new brides.＊

On the day of the event, we also prepared a stylish photo booth!♡ Please make sure to take commemorative pictures of your participation as a couple.♩

Time: Two sessions, at 1 PM and 5 PM (about 2 hours each)

Eligibility: Any couple looking for a wedding venue in Tokyo after spring 2017.♡

On that day, in addition to the workshop, there will also be a presentation about the TRUNK(HOTEL) that is newly opening in 2017! ♩ This is a chance to check out a highly anticipated new wedding venue! ♡

Additionally, the charismatic former bride “Shi-chan” will attend as a guest. She will share her experience of planning a unique wedding.

The workshop at TRUNK(HOTEL) about envisioning couple ideals was really fun, and I found myself getting quite into it. After it ended, he also said, “It was a good opportunity to think about things we don’t usually discuss,” and we continued to talk about family planning after we got home (laughs).

I want many people to actually experience this wonderful workshop and convey the greatness of TRUNK(HOTEL) to everyone.＊
