There are many items to prepare for a wedding, so it's important to clearly distinguish the parts you want to focus on and the parts you don't... that was the point I made in the first article◎ In the second article, I shared that I didn't emphasize the paper items and photography props.＊

This time, I would like to introduce two points that I focused on during my wedding!♡

The points I emphasized for my wedding①: Cuisine

The first point I focused on was the cuisine! The reason for this is that guests attending the wedding are looking forward to the food on the day.

I worked part-time at a wedding venue during my student days, and I heard guests saying things like, "This food is delicious!" and "I've never had foie gras before...!" quite often◎

Usually, you don’t have the opportunity to enjoy a full-course meal that costs tens of thousands of yen more than a few times a year. So I wanted my guests, who came all this way, to leave satisfied with delicious food!＊

Of course, drinks too♡

I added cocktails and welcome drinks to the standard plan at my venue (beer, wine, sake, shochu, and soft drinks)!

Many venues might offer cocktails as an option, but I wanted my guests to enjoy stylish drinks at such a wonderful wedding!♡

I served welcome drinks between the ceremony and the reception! Fortunately, the weather on my wedding day was clear and since it was an outdoor ceremony, I was glad to have cold drinks afterward◎

The points I emphasized for my wedding②: Dress

I had decided from the start to bring my own dress! The reason is that at my venue, "Even if you wear the same dress for the second party, you will incur rental fees for the dress."

I felt it was wasteful to rent an expensive dress that wouldn’t remain with me, especially since I had invested in three dresses, including a colored dress.

I also wanted to do location photos on our honeymoon, so I decided to make the bold choice to purchase a dress!＊ Upon researching, I found that there are many affordable options for purchasing as well...!

The more I looked at dresses, the more I got confused, and I went to many places for fittings... I faced problems like a cute bodice with less-than-ideal embroidery, and a cute design but an unflattering silhouette, making it hard to settle on the ideal dress.

Struggling to decide on a dress and making slow progress in wedding preparations. That's when I discovered fully custom dresses!

What I found was fully custom dresses. I thought that custom orders would be expensive, but surprisingly, the prices were quite reasonable, so I decided to take the plunge with a fully custom dress◎

Of course, I want to value everything, but if I try to perfect everything, the money and time spent on preparations can become unmanageable…!
