Wedding Report Volume 2!
Hello. I’m Nagisa, a curator at marry. I held my wedding in June this year, and I’m sharing my wedding report on marry*

As a newlywed, I'm starting a wedding report ♡ First, what are my thoughts and points of focus regarding the wedding?
A wedding is a series of choices. There are countless decisions to make. Therefore, I believe it’s important to clearly differentiate between the aspects you want to focus on and those you don’t when preparing for a wedding.
First, let me share the aspects I didn’t focus on*
Points I Didn't Focus On ①: Paper Items
The area I didn’t focus on was paper items. Many people pay attention to paper items because they are given to guests and remain as keepsakes, but I felt the opposite!
Why Didn't I Focus On It?
The reason I didn’t focus on it is that I’m the type who tends to throw away items like place cards and seating charts right away (sorry!).
So I wanted to create something that everyone could easily discard, without including photos so that they could enjoy it just for that moment!
I didn’t think it was worth spending a lot of money on, so I handmade the place cards and seating chart*
It would cost around 500 yen per copy if you order a folded seating chart from the venue, and even if you outsource, it would still be about 300 yen per copy. I made mine a handmade 8-page booklet type and just asked the printing service to print it, which ended up costing about 150 yen per copy* If I had ordered the same number of pages from a service, it would have cost around 800 yen per copy.
Even though I’m not a designer or anything, I managed to do it, but it was really tough...! When comparing just the price, it seems attractive, but the difference from a professional is significant, and it also takes time and effort. So for those who want to focus without too much hassle, I think it’s best to enlist a professional◎
However, even though I intended not to be particular, I am glad that we could create an original seating chart that felt like us at a low cost. Later, a friend told me they were keeping it safely! That made me really happy (laughs).
I will provide details on the seating chart and place card creation process later♩
Points I Didn't Focus On ②: Shooting Props
Photo props and garlands are very trendy and cute, aren’t they? ♡
I think it's fun to draw lots during table rounds and take pictures in the drawn poses! Photo booths are excellent items that allow you to capture cute photos easily◎
Why Didn't I Focus On It?
However, I didn’t prepare any. The reason is that the number of photo opportunities and time during a wedding is limited.
Because I wanted to take many photos, I felt that even taking time to choose props or move to a photo booth was a waste of time.
Also, while set poses are cute, I wanted to preserve the atmosphere of the moment, so I wanted everyone to enjoy taking spontaneous poses◎
Even without preparations, guests came to visit the main table a lot! The venue had such a good location that it was beautiful with greenery, so a photo booth wasn’t even necessary♡
How to Create Unfocused Areas?
I think many brides-to-be think, "I want to make sure everything is perfect for the wedding preparations!"
However, not being overly perfect can create a sense of ease, and there are certainly benefits to not overdoing things!
Especially in this era where so much information is available, I hope you can find a style that suits you among the myriad of options available◎
Next time, I will talk about the aspects I focused on*
