Congratulations to everyone who got engaged. Are you discussing your future together?
Hello, I am Haruno Tsuzaki, the editor-in-chief of marry. I have a question for both brides-to-be and those who have already gotten married: "Have you seriously discussed your future with your fiancé (or husband)?"
Your and his vision for the future. Do you see the same scenery?
There are many kinds of couples in the world. Some couples have been discussing their ideals for marriage and family planning since they were dating and have already made plans on how to spend their old age together, while others do not discuss the future at all.
I’m not sure which is right, but I believe that the ideal couple is one where both partners understand each other's visions and work towards them together ♡
It's very important to discuss your ideal future together ♡
In a long marriage that may last over 50 years, there will surely be differences in thought that can lead to arguments or misunderstandings. However, I believe that if we can convey what we think to each other regularly, such misunderstandings can be reduced ♡
Even if your ideal forms differ from moment to moment, it’s just a matter of both of you coming together. Most importantly, it is essential for a couple embarking on a long future together to build a relationship where they can "always discuss and share what they are thinking" ♡
Therefore, for couples who have recently been proposed to and are now engaged, we have decided to hold an event, 'A Meeting to Discuss Ideal Future Visions as a Couple', to think about your ideal future together before your wedding ♡

*A special project limited to engaged couples* "A Meeting to Discuss Ideal Future Visions as a Couple" is happening!
It is essential that both the bride and groom participate as a pair in this event. You will first discuss each person's ideal future, and then, taking into account the commonalities and differences in each person's future vision, you will draw your 'Ideal Couple's Future Vision' together with colored pencils on paper ♡

Have you ever done something like this?
This activity is surprisingly challenging, starting with "Finding the essential elements for your ideal future." The more detailed these elements are, the better ♡ For example:
Example 1) Children ➔ Two children: one boy and another girl who is two years younger.
Example 2) Home ➔ A house where you can see the sea in Kamakura, and a dog that can play in the garden.
Example 3) Delicious meals ➔ I want to make breakfast the most fulfilling meal of the day. I want to wake up at 6 AM every morning and have a proper breakfast with my partner before leaving for work, even on weekdays.
And so on.
Since we rarely think concretely about our future vision, this could be a great opportunity to reflect on your ideal lifestyle ♡
Organized by the highly anticipated wedding venue TRUNK HOTEL ♡
This marry collaboration event is hosted by TRUNK HOTEL. TRUNK HOTEL is the first hotel managed by Take and Give Needs that opened in May 2017 near Cat Street in Omotesando ♡ Of course, weddings can also be held there, with the concept of "beyond the wedding" ♡
