Is “All Cut Data” Really All the Data?＊

Many wedding studios offer a plan called "All Cut Data," which gives you the most photo data.

While this plan is more expensive than those that provide only a limited number of photos, it’s popular because you can receive hundreds, and in some studios, over a thousand (!) pieces of data. ♡

However, the term "All Cuts" or "All Data" often leads people to think it includes "all the photos taken," but that’s not actually the case.

“All Cuts” = “All Cuts That Meet the Delivery Standard”

The terms "All Cuts" and "All Data" refer not to all the photos taken but to all the photos that the photographer has determined can be delivered as products.

In other words, photos that the photographer believes do not meet the standard are generally not included in the full data.

During pre-wedding or post-wedding shoots, photographers take a massive number of photos to capture good expressions.

They shoot continuously for hours at a pace of one photo every few seconds, so there may be many photos that are dark and hard to see, photos where your eyes are half-open, or photos with messy bangs… such "failed" photos often mix in.

Some people might feel upset when they see a photo of themselves making a weird face, or they might think, “I’d rather you just left those out from the start!”

Therefore, after all such photos are removed, the data that consists only of wonderful photos is referred to as "All Cut Data." ♡

Additionally, if there are a lot of similar photos, the photographer may pick out the best ones and narrow it down to just a few. If there are too many data files, it can be cumbersome to import them on a regular household computer, so this is a considerate gesture.
