Popular "Yorisohi Talismans" for Brides
Speaking of popular talismans among brides, the two-piece set talisman "Yorisohi" and "Tsuresohi" from Nogi Shrine in Minato, Tokyo is a favorite♡
The "Yorisohi" designed with hakama and white bridal kimono symbolizes the wish that "the couple will stay together happily for a long time."
Meanwhile, the white and orange "Tsuresohi" carries the wish that "the couple, after many years of marriage, will continue to support each other for a long time"♡
Many brides seem to buy the "Yorisohi" for themselves and the "Tsuresohi" for their parents from both families*
Let's DIY a Talismans Box ♩
The "Yorisohi" and "Tsuresohi" talismans hold beautiful meanings*
They can be used as photography props or given as gifts, but...
It's recommended to DIY a special box where they can be displayed as is♡
With a dedicated box, you can use the "Yorisohi" as a welcome board and the "Tsuresohi" as gifts for your parents*
This time, pre-bride @m_wedding_0930 has kindly shared a detailed guide on how to create this wonderful box! (Thank you♡)
Let's take a look♩
Materials for the Yorisohi and Tsuresohi Box
The required materials are as follows♡ This time, we'll also use the bag that comes with the talismans*
☑ Yorisohi and Tsuresohi
☑ Bag for the talisman
☑ Gift envelope
☑ Masking tape
☑ Double-sided tape
☑ Seria collection case (13×17×5 cm)
Everything except for the talismans and bags can be gathered from 100 yen shops, so you can make a set for less than 1,500 yen♡
Now, let's go over the making process*
How to Make the Yorisohi and Tsuresohi Box Step 1
Cut 1 cm from the top of the bag the talismans came in, and lay it inside the case.

Apply masking tape along the side of the talisman box that is touching the case (the pink line in the image), and then put double-sided tape on top of that.
Peel off the backing of the double-sided tape and firmly attach it to the collection case.
Since tape is applied, you can easily take out the talisman with the box♡ Of course, for brides who want to display it permanently, it's okay to directly adhere it with double-sided tape.
How to Make the Yorisohi and Tsuresohi Box Step 3
Remove the "mizuhiki" from the gift envelope.
How to Make the Yorisohi and Tsuresohi Box Step 4
Cut the "mizuhiki" to fit the size of the collection case and attach it with double-sided tape.
The design of the "mizuhiki" changes the atmosphere, so choosing your favorite is the key◎
Complete ♡
The Yorisohi and Tsuresohi Box is complete* This cute box was made with just the talismans and budget-friendly items♡
@m_wedding_0930 is planning to gift these to her parents during the family meet-up♩ Surely, both parents and friends who are getting married will love receiving this as a gift*
I encourage you to try and DIY it yourself♡
