What is the Strawberry Moon??

The Strawberry Moon is the term used in America for the full moon in June.

It refers to the phenomenon of seeing a red or pink-tinted moon that occurs once a year.

In June, the days are long (the sun is high in the sky), but conversely, the moon is often in a low position near the horizon, which causes it to appear pink due to the effects of light. Additionally,

the name is derived from the fact that June is strawberry harvesting season in America.

It is said that this name was given by Native Americans.
