There is a correct order to insert the invitations♡

Many brides may already know this, but there is indeed a proper order to how to insert and layer the invitations!

For example, if when the guest opens the envelope they find:

☑ A small sticky note inadvertently falls out without anyone noticing...

That would be a big problem, and it’s a bad etiquette too＊

The correct way to insert and layer them in the envelope is as follows♩

The correct layering order is to place the items in the order that the guest will see them＊

This is the most standard and guest-friendly way to do it.

The items should be placed in the envelope facing the same way:

Invitation card ➡ Venue map ➡ RSVP postcard ＊

Small items like sticky notes and message cards should be tucked inside the main invitation card so that guests don’t overlook them♩

In fact, there are two other patterns＊

While layering from the items that guests will read is the most recommended, there are two other proper ways to insert them.

① Layer by size

② Insert everything inside the main invitation card
