The Inspiration Behind the Product was an April Fool's Joke!?

While 'Medetain' brings a smile, the idea actually stemmed from an April Fool's joke.

The official Twitter account of 'Semedine' posted as an April Fool's prank, "We created a celebratory Semedine, 'Medetain'. May the happy couple stick together forever," along with an image of 'Medetain'...

Many people responded, saying, "I don’t want this to be just a joke! Please turn this into a real product!!"

In response to the requests from followers, Semedine launched a crowdfunding campaign for 'Medetain',

and thus, 'Medetain' was born♡

The first release was on April 21, 2017, and astonishingly, it sold out in about four hours.

The second round is set to begin orders this fall. With the product being featured on TV, 'Medetain' is gaining a lot of attention. It’s a perfect conversation starter for a wedding gift for friends, or as a keepsake for your own wedding♡
