"Bride Solo Shot" I Want to Capture a Wonderful Back Shot!
After much deliberation, I chose the wedding dress of destiny*
Since it's my favorite dress, I want to take many wonderful photos that capture all its charm from both the front and back♩
Speaking of photos that convey the atmosphere of a wedding dress, isn't the "back shot" the best?
The long train, the fluffy skirt, and the beautiful veil in the back view are exactly the sacred image of a bride I've always dreamed of*
Let's leave behind a wonderful shot that makes you think, "It's like I'm not myself!"♡
There Are Tips for Taking Beautiful Back Shots!
A back shot of my beloved wedding dress. However, just casually having the photographer take a shot from behind won't necessarily result in a great photo.
By being mindful of a few tips, both the bride's silhouette and the wedding dress's silhouette can be elevated to look beautiful in the back shot*
There are three tips for capturing beautiful back shots. Let’s introduce them right away♡
Tip #1 for a Beautiful Back Shot: Lower the Shoulder in Front
One key point for beautifully capturing a back shot is to pose by lowering the shoulder that is closest to the camera when taking the photo!
If the shoulder is raised, it tends to create a stiff and awkward atmosphere, but by lowering the front shoulder, a beautiful vertical line flows from the neck through the shoulder, arm, and hand*
It's easy to forget to lower the shoulder, but it's a significant point that greatly affects the impression, so make sure to remember it well♩
Tip #2 for a Beautiful Back Shot: Look Slightly Up or Down
The next tip involves the bride's gaze*
When taking a back shot, you might wonder whether to look up or down.
For brides who are self-conscious about their facial contours or are concerned about chin fat (double chin), looking slightly up is recommended◎
While it might not be noticeable when taken from the front, the contours and lines around the chin can become pronounced in a back shot, drawing attention to these areas.
Therefore, for brides who are concerned about their face, raising the gaze slightly up and looking far away can result in beautiful photos♡
If facial features aren't a significant concern, then looking slightly down is the way to go*
At this time, be careful not to look down too much just to see the bouquet!
If you look directly down at the bouquet, your head will lower, making it look less beautiful.
So, while still appearing to look at the bouquet, keep your gaze above the bouquet and look slightly down without lowering your head*
Tip #3 for a Beautiful Back Shot: Turn the Bouquet Towards the Camera
The final tip for beautifully capturing a back shot involves the direction of the bouquet*
When taking back shots, it’s common to hold the bouquet, and it’s essential to be mindful of the orientation of the flowers and ribbons◎
If the photo is turned back, the bouquet may end up pointing down or the flowers may not be visible from the side, but,
by ensuring that the front of the flowers is facing the camera, you can capture a beautiful back shot that includes the bouquet♩
