Here's how to make it ▶ how to make it*
Want to make it right now? I'll introduce the DIY method for 'chopstick holders made from celebration envelopes' with photos ♩ (I was so curious that I tried making it myself♡)
① Prepare the received celebration envelope.
Let's remold it with a feeling of gratitude ♡
② Remove the mizuhiki from the envelope.
Since the mizuhiki will be used as decoration for the chopstick holder, don’t throw it away*
③ Cut the celebration envelope in half.
Open the celebration envelope and fold it in half.
Then cut along the fold! This way, you can make two chopstick holders from one celebration envelope ♩
④ Fold it into the shape of a chopstick holder.
First, fold down the front cover to show the design. Then fold it in the order of ① and ② to create the envelope♡
The key is to adjust the width so that it fits the chopsticks perfectly*
⑤ Decorate with the mizuhiki*
Since the mizuhiki is super cute and adds a bright touch, you would want to decorate your chopstick holder with it! First, cut it to match the width of the chopstick holder.
Then, wrap it around the chopstick holder you made in step ④ and secure it with masking tape at the right place.
⑥ Cut off any excess parts!
Trim the top piece if it's too long, and adjust the folded part at the end.
Organize the length of the pouch*
And it's finished ♡
A beautifully luxurious and festive chopstick holder is ready ♡
You can complete the other piece of paper too! It was so easy once I tried making it, even for someone like me who isn't very handy*
