One of the Most Beautiful Parks in France*
Paris, France has many beautiful scenic spots that we admire, and among them, the famous "Tuileries Garden" stands out.
This is the place known for its large fountain and the green iron chairs lined up in the landscape.
(This is also the spot with the tree-lined avenue that's popular for proposal shots!)
When I travel there, I dream of sitting in these chairs enjoying wine, cheese, and fruit, or having lunch with café au lait and croissants.
I fantasize about reading a book while gazing at the nearby Louvre Museum.
History of the Tuileries Garden♡
When we hear the word "Tuileries," we Japanese might think of "the place where Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were captured!" (Referring to the event known as the storming of the Tuileries Palace on August 10), but the Tuileries Garden has an even older history.
It began in the 1560s when Catherine de' Medici, who lost her husband, the king, commissioned the construction of a magnificent castle and garden for her son.
With flowers blooming in every season, the garden was beautifully crafted with statues and buildings designed by the famous architect who also worked on the construction of the Palace of Versailles, serving as a venue for royal weddings and a playground for the young king.
Napoleon Bonaparte also lived there.
After the palace was demolished due to the impact of the French Revolution, only the garden remained, and it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1991. Since then, under the management of the Louvre Museum, it has been meticulously maintained, making it one of the most beautiful parks in France.
A Traveling Amusement Park Comes in Summer♡
The Tuileries Garden is beautiful to visit in any season, but **remember that every summer, a traveling amusement park comes**♡
From June to August each year (the exact dates change annually), the Tuileries Garden features many attractions including haunted houses, go-karts, and slides that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
Among them, the stylish aerial swing offers a breathtaking view of the Tuileries Garden when you ride it*
Each swing is adorned with tricolor French flags, making it a fashionable sight to behold from below♡
Getting wedding photos in such a place would be a lifelong memory♡ It's a summer photo filled with the essence of France♡
Besides the Aerial Swing*
There is also a large, pure white Ferris wheel♡
It sounds fun to take photos like this, appearing to hold onto the Ferris wheel♡
This carousel is available all year round. (There are numerous carousels in the streets of Paris!)
