This timer continuously counts how many days, hours, and seconds have passed since "that time."

It operates for 150 years on included AAA batteries without recharging and can display a maximum of 999,999 days, 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds (which is 2378 years) on the timer’s screen.

If the battery is replaced, it can continue counting for over 150 years.

One of the most frequently asked questions from people who buy ecniS is about battery replacement; however, approximately six months before the battery runs out, a mark will appear on the display to indicate that the battery level is low.

When replacing the battery, the timer does not stop because a backup capacitor takes over, so the timer continues running even during battery replacement.

(It truly is a memorial timer that won't stop once started—one that can be passed down for generations!)

Furthermore, the ability to count for 2378 years means that if children become parents and have children every 35 years... it calculates to a staggering 67 generations who can experience time with a timer that has started its count.
