This cute hill was created by a man named Leonard Knight! One day, hearing the voice of God, Leonard became spiritually awakened and spent 30 years to complete 'Salvation Mountain'*
Over those 30 years, he mixed mud and clay for bricks with straw to form the mountain's surface and used various paints to transform the land into a vibrant spectrum of colors. Leonard recounts how challenging it was to work under scorching heat exceeding 40 degrees every day*
